Good Day All.
Took a few days off after Christmas, but I will be back in force soon. Already finished another book and have some things to say about music and movies, plus a bit of information about the iPod touch. Expect all this over the next few days. As an added bonus: I am in the process of applying for a teaching position. Should I get the job, I will be sure to post my best lessons and classroom management ideas to help fill up the teaching portion of this site.

The practice of putting theory into practice.
I first encountered the word several years ago when I took the Praxis II exam for receiving my teaching license (which, by the way, I passed with flying colors). Praxis seems to have a variety of specialized meanings depending on the area to which it is applied. The overall connotation of the word, however, is that of putting some learned skill or knowledge into practice.
